Privacy Policy

Linux IMQ is built around a simple principle: your data stays on your device. This policy explains what that means in practice.

Tool input stays in your browser

Every converter, generator, formatter and calculator on this site runs entirely as client-side code in your web browser. Text you paste, files you select and values you generate are processed locally. They are not transmitted to our servers, logged, or stored by us.

Files you select

Some tools let you choose a file, for example to encode it or extract an archive. That file is read directly by your browser and never leaves your device. Closing or refreshing the page discards it.

Information we do collect

We may collect standard, aggregate technical information through privacy-respecting analytics, such as which pages are visited and general device or browser type. This information is not tied to your identity and is used only to understand which tools are useful. Our hosting provider may process server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operational purposes.

Cookies

The tools themselves do not require cookies to function. If any analytics or preference cookies are used, they are limited to non-essential, aggregate measurement.

Third parties

We do not sell personal information. Any third-party services used for hosting or analytics are bound by their own privacy terms and receive only the limited technical data described above.

Your choices

Because tool input never reaches us, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf for that input. You can block cookies and analytics at the browser level at any time.
